The client performed their Zabbix installation following the official documentation in a generic manner.
Solution
A guidance workshop was conducted to delve into the value that the platform could bring.
Additionally, tuning was performed on the installed platform, applying best practices.
As part of the solution, a set of scripts was created, which, based on the information available in Zabbix, generated reports (a feature that the client had not activated due to lack of awareness).
Additionally, assistance was provided to incorporate historical values into Zabbix using Zabbix Sender and timestamps.
Results
The client achieved performance improvement and scalability in their Zabbix installation.
They automated the generation of reports and successfully incorporated historical information into the platform, allowing them to have a single source of truth.
