About the client
A digital entertainment platform created to provide quick and easy access to a wide variety of audiovisual content, including movies, series, documentaries, and streaming programs. Since its launch, it has consolidated itself as a preferred option in several Latin American countries, adapting to users’ evolving needs and leveraging technological innovations to continuously improve the viewing experience.
Over the years, the platform has evolved by integrating new features such as multi-device compatibility and personalized recommendations, ensuring high-quality service and satisfaction. Its strategic approach combines local and international content offerings, promoting cultural diversity and facilitating access to top-level entertainment in the region. Its commitment to innovation and connectivity positions it as a key player in the Latin American streaming market.
Needs
The platform urgently needed to replace its current HUB system, made up of three critical components: Bidirectional HUB, IoT HUB, and SMS HUB.
This system, with 56 transformations and 12 associated APIs, presented limitations in performance, scalability, and maintenance.
The goal was to optimize data management and communication between devices and applications to address current challenges and prepare the technology environment for future business needs.
Solution
Nubiral proposed and implemented an architecture based on API Gateway, acting as an intermediary between all existing APIs.
This approach allowed unification of the access point, enhanced security, facilitated data transformation, and enabled monitoring capabilities.
Through domain segregation, endpoints are managed centrally, reducing risks and improving traceability.
In addition, the system is scalable and flexible, allowing it to efficiently adapt to variations in demand while maintaining high performance levels.
