The company offers an online rental and subscription service that provides access to the best movies, series, documentaries, and concerts. Its customers can access these contents worldwide whenever they wish.
They provide subscriptions in these locations: Argentina, Chile, Brazil, Colombia, Panama, and Mexico.
Needs
The company in Argentina had implemented Zabbix as a monitoring and control tool for various aspects of its infrastructure, applications, and business processes.
The lack of specific experience and in-depth knowledge about the tool led to underutilization of the product, resulting in an outcome that did not satisfy all the business needs.
The implemented solution did not contribute to the optimization of processes because the deployment did not follow the recommended best practices.
Solution
From Nubiral, an assessment of the current infrastructure was conducted, and it was recommended to reengineer the infrastructure that was deployed, applying best practices including distributed monitoring, database partitioning, and layered architecture, among others.
This change enabled the automation of manual processes (through the application of automatic functions), which helped reduce manual labor by 40%.
Additionally, Zabbix was integrated with the current alert system in the Network Operation Center (NOC), adding value to the business and significantly improving daily operations.
