Needs
An entertainment sector company, constantly evolving, currently has four PowerBI reports that consistently exhibit high memory consumption. While users haven’t reported service degradation issues, it’s important to ensure the availability of information by addressing the memory consumption spikes in these reports.

Dashboard: Automatic Ticket Booths – Kiosks
Following an initial phase of analysis and implementation of improvements on the Attendance Indicators and KIO Features dashboard, the Nubiral team has identified several areas for improvement in the code based on PowerBI development best practices that can be applied to the rest of the listed dashboards.
Solution

While the implementation of these improvements and practices does not guarantee the absence of memory consumption spikes, it is expected that the systematic occurrence of such spikes will decrease.

The client experienced a 70% improvement in report performance, resulting in significant time savings. From this point forward, the user areas of the entertainment complexes achieved complete independence in generating reports.
Furthermore, complete independence from the BI department was achieved by the user areas. They now have total freedom to consume information in various formats as needed.
